Day 1 Day 01 :ARRIVAL SRINAGAR
Day 01 :ARRIVAL SRINAGAR Meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Leave for Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet - weaving factory. Dinner overnight in Srinagar hotel.
Day 2 Day 02 : SRINAGAR TO GULMARG TO SRINAGAR
Full day trip Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilanmarg, which can be covered in about 3 hrs. Also enjoy sledge riding on snow. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Return back to Srinagar. overnight stay in srinagar hotel.
Day 3 DAY 03 : SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM
Drive towards Pahalgam through the National Highway 1A.Drive past the saffron fields of Pampore, the marvelous remnants of Awantipora and the village of Bijbehara, where you can try some exotic breads sold by vendors near the road (on direct payment basis). Change the national highway at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Kashmir-Anantnag. From there, the journey becomes more scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction In Pahalgam, overnight stay in pahalgam.
Day 4 DAY 04: PAHALGAM TO SRINAGAR
After breakfast leave Pahalgam and drive to Srinagar at lunch time you will reach into the hotel . Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at Hotel .
Day 5 Day 05: SRINAGAR TO Kargil (205 Kms)
After Breakfast drive Srinagar to Leh On the way you stop at many places and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs known as (Gateway of Ladakh) continue drive towards Drass second coldest place in the world here we stop for tea and passport check. , Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 DAY 06: KARGIL TO LEH
Leave in the morning full day drive to Leh today we have to ascend three passes this day will be tiresome but panoramic too. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek. We have to cross the highest pass (Fotula 13749 ft.) on Srinagar Leh route. Visit Patharsahab gurduwara, karrgil war memoral, magnetic hill road.visit Lamayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view of Zanskar river following into Indus. Finally we reach Leh 3500 Mtrs. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 FULL LEH LOCAL SIGHT SEEING
After Breakfast Visit, Hall of Fame, Thiksey Monastery Shanti Stupa, Sand Dunes Leisure Park, Likir Monaster, Stok Palace Museum, Sindhu Ghat,Hall Of Fame, night stay Leh Hotel.
Day 8 LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY TO LEH
After Breakfast Drive To Nubra Valley Nubra Valley is one of the MUST VISIT places in Ladakh especially if you are visiting for the first time. Nubra Valley is among the sub-districts in Ladakh, located in North East side having Diskit Village as the its main headquarters. Diskit is situated about 120 odd KMs from Leh town which is the main capital of Ladakh district. The Shyok river, a tributary of Indus river, meets the Nubra or Siachen river to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakorum Ranges. The ultra wide landscapes, humongous mountain faces, lovely trails, wide variety of colors and musical Shyok river flowing midst the valley will take your breath away at first sight.Back to Leh night stay Leh Hotel.
Day 9 DAY 09: LEH TO PANGONG TO LEH
Leave early morning at 5AM to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDERâ€. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel
